Joe Shute Lantern – Best of Both Worlds

A Joe Shute Lantern combines durable nylon skirts with a “witch” style head and hair.  Like the rest of Capt. Joe’s lures, lanterns are a proud product of the USA.  Joe hand-ties each lure in his NC shop, using the best materials.  Little things like higher quality hair, and domestic lead heads with quality paint make a world of difference over the course of a season.  The vibrancy of Joe’s lures stands apart from most others in class, and is a huge contributor to their global success.

The “lantern” style of lure is a very effective mahi mahi lure.  It’s also deadly for Tuna of all sorts.  This lure in the half ounce size, works best with a medium ballyhoo in tow.  Currently, we stock the Joe Shute Lantern in our exclusive colorway and three other options.  Also, these lures are available with or without rigging.  Custom color combos are available, please call or email to discuss.
