Bait Strips are a Florida fishing favorite that is reusable and looks great in the water.

One of our buddies, Capt. Ryan Van Fleet of Good Karma Sportfishing has been going on about Bait Strips for a while now.  We tend to take his recommendations seriously, so we brought them in.  These Mylar strips come in 5 count packs and 2 different sizes.  There’s a ton of good reasons to use Bait Strips instead of cut strip baits, all of which are laid out above.  We think you’ll be most happy with the time and hassle saved by not having to fillet extra fish or store the strips in a freezer.  These little guys also make great wings for trolling lures!

Bait Strips are easy to rig, see the video on this page.  We did find that you get more life out of them by using a hole punch to pop your holes in the strip for rigging.  Use Bait Strips under a sea witch, chugger, or any other lure you’d troll with dead bait.  These are a great way to catch a bunch of school dolphin in a hurry!
